Pumpkin Raita Recipe | What Is The Recipe Of Pumpkin Raita
- 3/4 cup chopped and parboiled pumpkin kaddu/ bhopla
- 1 1/2 cups curds dahi
- salt to taste
- 2 tsp oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds rai / sarson
- 1 tsp urad dal split black lentils
- 1/4 tsp asafoetida hing
- 5 curry leaves kadi patta
Combine the curds and salt in a deep bowl and mix well using a whisk.
Add the pumpkin and mix gently. Keep aside.
Heat the oil in a small non-stick pan, add the mustard seeds, urad dal, asafoetida and curry leaves and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
Pour this tempering over the pumpkin-curd mixture and mix gently.
Refrigerate for atleast 1 hour and serve chilled.
